After the successful first edition in 2009 in PUBLIC Provocation This year, one more showcase than urban and diverse. Parallel to the international art fair in Basel unite large Names, styles and forms of contemporary graffiti and street art Scene from June to Okober in Weil am Rhein. An insight into the current work the scene, which in its composition, the curatorial work of Sigi of Koedinger I Dare continues. Of the walls of the backyards and the modern city landscapes artistic expressions of all kinds to think little more away.

Stickers 2 is a collection of the most stunning contemporary sticker designs curated from around the world.The book presents 700 of the best ephemeral, subversive and humorous sticker motifs and urban applications by over 150 international artists who are expressing themselves through this versatile medium.

During Past 5 years kolahstudio Has been Selling Art stuff and products of the basement down in rented Gallery Spaces and Internet To a serrie of collectores and Art lovers around the world. Since the increasing number of Contacts and works we decided to launch the Pain-things.com as the front store of the Website(KS) to show and represent Kolahstudio Art pieces (Originals,limited prints and comissioned) for those who are or may be interested to have one or a serrie at their collection.
As you may already now KS and also Pain-things have a especial taste and not an easy /money oriented viewpoint onshowcasing Art products for . so we just try to keep limited to some serries of Art works we surley think they have some collecting values and have a story around. Being out of the mainstream and still being Bold and Effective is Always our Main goal …so we just Seek Our Own Goals…..

The 2008 Stencil Festival will be held in Melbourne at the Yarra Sculpture Gallery in Vere St, Abbotsford, from 1 to 10 August. Highlights of the exhibition will be presented in Sydney at Pine St Creative Arts Centre from 1 - 31 October.
To celebrate Stencil Festivals 5th anniversary we will present an exhibition called Five Continents - Six Artists which features the following artists:
A1one (Iran - MiddleEast/Asia)
Klingatron (Scotland - Europe)
Daniel Melim (Brasil - South America)
Larry Cyr (USA - North America)
Kudzanai Chiurai (South Africa - Africa)
Ralf Kempken (Australia - Australia/Pacific)
As usual the Stencil Festival Group Show will present an ecclectic mix of artist from around the world. 30 artist have been chosen out of a large number of applicants. Selected artists have been invited to submit two works each.
As usual the festival presents a packed program including a film night, presenting the latest of street art related documentaries, a panel discussion ("Cans Up - You are Arrested" - introducing the new anti-graffiti laws), master classes, live spraying and charity auction.
Satellite events will be held at the Fitzroy Library, Artspace at J-Studios in North Fitzroy and FamousWhenDead Gallery in West Melbourne.

Opening Reception: February 20, 5 - 7 p.m. (closed for Spring Break, 3/9-16)
Geographically focusing on former Persia and its cultural legacy, this exhibit will present recent media works by artists from Iran and Central Asia . The exhibit thematically explores not only the traditional garden and the contemporary sense of place, but also notions of paradise lost and found, lessons learned and forgotten, and traditions cherished and rejected.
