In addition to laying the groundwork for the industry alongside others like Microsoft Corp. co-founder Bill Gates, Mr. Jobs proved the appeal of well-designed products over the power of technology itself and transformed the way people interact with technology.
"The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come," Mr. Gates said in a statement Wednesday.
The most productive chapter in Mr. Jobs's career occurred near the end of his life, when a nearly unbroken string of successful products like the iPod, iPhone and iPad changed the PC, electronics and digital-media industries. The way he marketed and sold those products through savvy advertising campaigns and Apple's retail stores helped turn the company into a pop-culture phenomenon.
At the beginning of that phase, Mr. Jobs described his philosophy as trying to make products that were at "the intersection of art and technology." In doing so, he turned Apple into the world's most valuable company with a market value of $350 billion.

150 Irish Artists Boycutt Israeel

A CULTURAL boycott of Israel was launched yesterday, with more than 150 Irish artists announcing that they intend not to perform or exhibit in Israel, or to accept any funding from institutions linked to the Israeli government.

The Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) said it was in protest at Israel’s “treatment of the Palestinian people”.

Raymond Deane of the IPSC cited a statement from the Israeli Foreign Ministry in 2005 saying they considered culture a propaganda tool.

He said: “Artists who perform there are backing it [the Israeli government] whether they like it or not.”

The pledge signed by the artists states the boycott would continue, “until such time as Israel complies with international law and universal principles of human rights”. Mr Deane said: “You can’t really pin this down”, but it means, “at least an end of the occupation of Palestine; dismantling or at least stopping the settlements; and Israel negotiating in good faith with the Palestinians”.

An Israeli embassy spokesman said the boycott “was regrettable and ill-advised” and that “vilifying and ostracising Israel and promoting a lose-lose programme of boycotts is not the way to secure legitimate Palestinian rights”.

Singer and songwriter Damien Dempsey hoped the boycott would encourage young people in Israel who disagreed with the government to “speak out”.

He said that the military were running the show in Israel and that they needed the world to stand up against them.

Musician Donal Lunny said he was taking part to “express solidarity with the Palestinian people”.

When asked about the boycott’s chances for success, Eoin Dillon, a performer with Irish and world music band Kila, said: “It worked in South Africa.”

Industrial Design for female hygiene

P-Mate, the hugely popular disposable female hygiene product in Europe that allows women to pee standing up, is being introduced to the United States through Go Your Way, a newly formed company based in Broomfield, Colorado.

The product, invented by a woman in the Netherlands, means women no longer have to pull their pants down or squat in order to pee. In other words, it gives women the freedom to neatly pee like men.

In an agreement reached with Joe Product Promotions of London, England, Go Your Way will be the sole distributor for P-Mate in Colorado, with sales expected to begin by the end of August. This will be the first distribution of P-Mate into the U.S.

"This is a revolutionary product that has taken Europe by storm," said Karen Diamond, president of Go Your Way. "It allows women to pee standing up, just like the boys, giving a whole new slant on equal rights for women. It can easily fit into your pocket or handbag, so it goes with you wherever you go."

She explained that it can be used when there are no toilets available such as when camping or hiking, or when the toilet is just too filthy to sit on. The invention is great for traveling, during pregnancy or during any outdoor activity, in addition to being a big help for a woman giving a urine sample at a clinic, hospital or doctor's office. P-Mate is discreet, hygienic, environmentally friendly and made from recycled materials.

Dare To be different

Unfortunately Sigi von Koeding aka DARE(b.1968) has lost the fight with cancer and died at Evening 6th March 2010 in Hospital in Basel . The loss of this Inspiring Artist will be noticed more and more by every minute for sure... Our sympathy goes to the family and close friends of Sigi and All Graffiti Writers who could see the magic in his lines.
After several exhibitions in Switzerland between 1992 and 1995, Dare exhibited at the Art Frankfurt fair and at the Kallman Museum in Munich in 1996.
His works can be interpreted as written selfportraits, every letter is unique and has it's own expression, reflecting the artists daily feelings and representing his name. Dare Induces his own writing style, punctuated by elegant and fluid poses. Always exploring new posibilities and techniques on his canvases.

Kaos in King St. is the Title for the Australian Clay animation which will be available on DVD in June 2010. The film has taken 12 months to create.

It features charicatures of 4 of Sydney's pioneering graffiti artists’ Teazer, Pnash, Phibs and Mistery showcasing their art on a small scale.

This 20 minute film shows the impact of the recently enacted anti-graffiti laws, this new law states that any person caught in possesion of an aerosol spray can be jailed for their art.

Kurt Westergaard's Movie continues in 2010

A single picture that brought Kurt Westergaard an international fame and notoriety and now makes him a campaigner for freedom of expression while the most hated man in muslim's World.

Danish police have shot and wounded a man at the home of Kurt Westergaard, whose controversial cartoons of the prophet Muhammad sparked a storm of Muslim protest five years ago.

Danish media reported last night that Westergaard, 74, was at home near the city of Aarhus with his wife and grandchild when a 27-year-old Somalian man armed with a knife and axe tried to break in.

Chief superintendant Morten Jensen, from East Jutland police, said: "At 10pm a personal alarm was received from Mr Westergaard's house."

Officers found a man "armed with an axe and a knife in either hand," he said. "He broke a window of Mr Westergaard's house. He tried to attack one officer with an axe and he was shot in his right leg and his left arm." He said the man was not seriously injured and was now in custody.

In 2005 the Jyllands-Posten newspaper published a caricature by Westergaard depicting Muhammad wearing a turban shaped like a bomb with a fuse.

Islamic tradition says no image of the prophet should be produced or shown.

Danish embassies were attacked including the one in Damascus which was burned down in 2006 and death threats against Westergaard forced him into hiding.

In March 2008 Denmark's three main newspapers reprinted the cartoon after the arrest of three men for plotting to murder the artist.The three – a Dane of Moroccan origin and two Tunisians – were picked up in a dawn raid near Aarhus following a long surveillance operation by the country's intelligence services, the PET.

The Dane was eventually released without charge and one of the two Tunisians was deported. The other was sent to live in an asylum centre north of Copenhagen.

"It has made me angry that a perfectly normal everyday activity, which I used to do by the thousand, was abused to set off such madness," the statement added.

In today's Jyllands-Posten, Westergaard described the incident: "He threatened to kill me. I ran out to the bathroom where our security room is. I was worried for my grandchild. I was afraid.

"I knew that I could not match him. So I alerted the police. It was scary. It was really close. But we did it. It was good."

Westergaard was moved to a safe place last night but was unable to say what the attempted attack would mean for his future."It is too early to say. I must speak with PET and then we will see," he said.

Just like Noah saved the animal species in his ark, this project will try to rescue the ones surrounding us today inside this book, thanks to the work of some of the most important and talented visual artists, illustrators and contemporary designers.

The idea was to create an animal bible showing the different species around the globe through the eyes of artists from each corner of the planet. Each of them selected a creature -an animal or species- to represent their birth place, which will be added to the Ark.

We made a thorough research in order to find and see the works by as many artists as we could from each continent, looking on websites, blogs, magazines, books and art galleries. The over 200 participating artists, were selected because of their unique skills and vision of the world. The result is an amazing illustration bible that mixes styles and techniques, showing how amazing nature is and why we should take care of the environment and all the species living on the world.

Just check out this new law which has been declared by the Iranian Ministry of Islamic Culture and Education’s Fine Arts Department: "All official and unofficial fine art shows, exhibitions, events and expos should have prior permission from the Department of Fine Arts of the Islamic Ministry of Culture and Education."

How will this be done? Every artist, gallery or institute that wants to create a public event exhibiting fine art pieces must first show images of the artwork to the Islamic ministry officers and have them stamped as "Permissible.”

What does this mean? Is this in the interests of the artists? What is it like to be an artist in IRAN? To be a painter? This new policy has just one meaning: You are allowed to show these images in your gallery show, The Government – Sanctioned Art Show!!!!!

We live in 2008. History has taught us that Government- sanctioned art is not completely ART. Is It?

So after this We -Artists- in IRAN will not Show art in Galleries.This means :After this law ,In IRAN,You can just check galleries to see Premissioned ,accepted ,old colorful bulshit on walls instead of ART.Yeah!!! we will show some formal shit in Galleries.The original art is Underground and these days we will get Underground more and more.

THe strange point is(for example :) exactly when I am trying to trust my government and try to make my country's name shine in the world wide galleries (that is a positive thing for whole my nation and government)my government is fucking with me an trying to keep me silent . What the stupid dialouge is going on between me and my government. I am going mad as a Progressive Artist ,i should fear more and more.I should be depressed more and more . I should change my way again to be against instead of trying to be friend of my government.It is when the Government can not understand the young Blood.they fear. they are afraid of Beauty. a painting , a new subject or a young girl . All of these are meant to be against the religious government.
Girls ,newblood pieces of Art and every beauty should be hidden back at home or a basement. Painting a woman figure,a social political subject or a real energetic piece for sure is Not accepted.It means when ever i want to show my works in My country or take them out or inside my country with me i should show them all to the cultural officers and get permission. so it means when i paint i should also think about them and think about when and where i want to show or hide them. Hey man It means i can never create art but some useless paintings.ART is the result of freethinking and experience but not a limited act of putting colors on canvas and making an accepted image .

I just checked some opinions between some Iranian artists and cultural activists and saw that every person i can trust on has the similar idea to me.But so shame on those official artists who are using governmental budget and are going to official biennales like veniz and other bienalls . those who are lieing to themselves and people. One of them answered like this
Question: "Dear Mr.Khosrodjerdi what do you think about the new laws about showing of Fine Arts?"
Answer : "Ofcourse it is so good ,becasue it makes a better friendship and harmoney between artists and government and they can be more in touch after this.

Lets ask like this :" What the fuck are you talking about,stupid pupet?"
they are many countries and cities who are making a good relation between Artists and Government but not in such a rude and crazy way. I have witnessed that in some cities in the world they are paying artists for each Exhibition ,city council prints all posters and cards freely and many other oppurtunities that are made to help artists and inviting them to be close or near to the government. they do not check the artists work and they do not want him/her to be silent. they want him to cry and find the best ways ,to explore and teach all the nation. they help Artists ,but here we are getting totured.

The 2008 Stencil Festival will be held in Melbourne at the Yarra Sculpture Gallery in Vere St, Abbotsford, from 1 to 10 August. Highlights of the exhibition will be presented in Sydney at Pine St Creative Arts Centre from 1 - 31 October.

To celebrate Stencil Festivals 5th anniversary we will present an exhibition called Five Continents - Six Artists which features the following artists:

The First Apearance of Street Art In Tehran Galleries ....

As the first experience of graffiti in Tehran has happened by artists involved with “KolahStudio” Project, we are undoubtedly going to present some in Tehran galleries.

The gallery is not our temple, just a place to play safe. So we are
going to play safe for a week and make some thing real out of it in the
following weeks.

We will be so delighted to see the expansion of contacts and cooperation among the young artists in parallel with the growth and development of Urban Art in Iran and it is noteworthy that such art in its ideal form can have an enormous effect on converting the face of the city in to a more different and elegant one. As the spring of the new generation of Urban Culture and the visual experience KolahStudio presents The Spray Exhibition (September 1st to 1st of October 2007) with the participation of three Iranian artists and seven artists from Germany, India, Finland, Belgium, Israel, US and UK will be held in different public places in different cities in Iran. An exhibition of Experimental Poster Design is open to audiences in Mehrin Art Gallery -Tehran.Four Junior Graphic Designers -Mohammad Bani-Hassan,AliReza Hesaraki , AbulFazl Khosravi , Hojat Azizi and Amir Masoud Niaee joint together and made an exhibition of free posters based on Free Individual Ideas.

Why i should see a Gallery of Popular celebrity Calender photos ,hanging on TMCOA ,when i do believe They are More inspirations ,out between the young artists .I don't like to see A master Photographer ,amazed by photoshop in 50th year of his life and produces some foolish images which show he was doing nothing all his life?

Sweden National Television meets kolahstudio artists in tehran to discuss about the media and Young art in Iran.The Reporter Malik Bendjelloul interviews the Kolahstudio Art Director- Karan Reshad - About the Brainstorm Emagazine and the aspects of publishing This new kind of media in Iran.
Furthermore ,they asked about the street art movement in Tehran and the roots of it.the nice part of the meeting was an argue about Atomic energy ,just because of a satire like stencil -I love Atom Bomb-which led us to find ourselves in a Reaktor instead of an art studio.We talked about peace and our experience.. and we presented them one of our Group painting experiences ...Just LIVE! in thirty minutes ,there were four kinds of sad creatures on a 100x100 cms canvas nailed on wall.then It's all a gift ...Take it friends .but it's not the end .

The past year was both a good and a bad year for Iranian Artists society.-Good News -Ahamad Nadalian , won the second prise of Tashkand Modern Art Biennale , Afshin Pirhashemi won the First prize on China biennale and Madjid Amini wob the second
Prize of the Aydin dogan -Turkey. Even more Mr.Alireza Goldouzian achived to succes in Bratislav Festival and Mohammad Ali Khalaji won the Grand Persica in Brazil.

In Europe ,One of The major Iranian Artists-Mr. Vaziri Moghaddam ,whom was one of the master teachers for many Iranian Artists won the 2005 european charechter ,for his great art and life.

Two of the greatest exhibitions held in Iran -Tehran were of those called The Exhibition of Western Modern Art which had been taken place in Tehran Museum of Contemporary
Arts.The first Exhibition was the Exhibition of Western Modern art called "The Exhibition of TMCA 's Archive of Modern Art Movement" .the second exhibition followd the first
one was that one showing Us The Iranian Modern art from 1920 to 2005 .THe first exhibition was a success to stop the rumors about selling all of TMCA Archive to westerns

Three bad news ,telling us about the death of Three Iranian Major Artists THe news was the saddest news we heard in Tehran -iran in the passed year .Iranian Poet and
litterature critic - Manouchehr Atashi 's Dead . Iranian master Graphic designer - Morteza momayez's Dead and the Death of Mrs. Mokarameh Ghanbari , Iranian Naive Painter
were of those Events ,made all Iranian art lovers feel sorry and sad.
The Art Expo of Tehran which was established to help Iranian Artists and Galleries work freely ,went wrong and ruined all the way .

Many official organizations took art works and didn't pass any money ,The
Iranian government wanted to help artists by putting some budgets for
govenmental organizations to buy Iranian Artists Works , but they did it wrong
and they gave no money to any Artist and had just taken thier times and
energy.The Iranian Ministry of Industries ,which was responsible of buying many
of the Art works in The Expo,took most of the works in the first days of
exbition and avoided other organizations from purchasing those.

No money at all ,for any reason it was a sad condition of killing Hope.Mr. Imani Khoshkhou - Deputy in ministry of Culture of Iran - Said : " the Tehran Art Expo was not Successful at all."

The Venice Biennal ,was also the funny news of Iranian Art .Many of Artists wanted to kill themself to reach to the biennale and it was like an Art level Race between sentimental
fools. Many artist wanted to be there and many others wanted to pretend they were there , It seems to be a sentimental war against art ,instead,which is taking place in
IRAN .In fact reaching to these exhibitins and the calls for iranian Artist is not a free aqnd independent matter ,but it's all a govenmental and Political Program So It happent
for those who have more relations or more Monay to attent the position.
As the Iranian News agency said : This time two Iranian Women are ready to be sent to the Venice biennale , but It was such a shocking news and in the result ,the official

Fajr International Theatre Festival is On

The 24th International Fajr Theatre Festival is to celebrate four veteran drama artists who have had a great influence on Iranian theater.
According to the Public Relations Bureau of the festival, participating artisits will pay tributes to the four veterans, namely, Jaber Anasori, Mohammad Charmshir, Hossein Kasbian and Saeed Fallah for their outstanding performances in numerous plays and dramas as well as invaluable service to Iranian theater.

As IRNA Writes ,Jaber Anasori is an outstanding scholar and prolific writer of many volumes of books on the history of Iranian drama and traditional arts while Kasbian has played brilliant roles for more than three decades in numerous plays and on screen. Mohammad Charmshir is a veteran playwright. The 24th International Fajr Theatre Festival will be held in Tehran from January 20 to 29 and is expected to draw the participation of numerous domestic and foreign drama groups.

A painting Exhibition Titled: Nature in Iranian Contemporary Painting” is now open for the public show,in Tehran .The exhibition contaied of Iranian contemporary paintings ,with masterpieces from Sohrab Sepehri , Iran darroodi and some other junior and senior Artists.But the sad side of truth is the level of This Exhbition,in which you can not find more then 4 works ,worth paying attention.after melenium exhibition in which most of works are like decorative realism and Barbizon paintings and the most progressive works where some ugly copies of paul klee’s.
I really Don’t like to visit an Art Exhibition about to show popular and cheap Art in 2006. and I just know That Nature is not such a cheap existence as of those curatorz!!!!

An extreme instance of Artbook Censorship

Censoring is not a new phenamenon in Iran & many other countries around the globe.It mostly comprises those medias which are regarded against society’s governmental , social ,religious prospects.
In some countries ,cultural censorship is one of the most important devices used by the government . as a major and powerful weapon to hinder any mental improvement or any particular movement in the society.
In Islamic republic of Iran ,beside internet censorship ,media censorship and self-censorship(an Epidemic disease in Iran’s present anti-secular Rules),cultural sencorship ,the common kind of censoring is worth mentioning once more.

Undoubtedly finding Up to date books is something hard to achieve in Tehran . In a couple of bookstores of capital ,Tehran, you can find some categorized Foreign art and cultural books from Some popular western publishers ( exp. Thames & Hudson , taschen ,phaidon and …),but in all this books you can not find any surviving from censorship. If they are not censored by cruel black markers or razors ,they cant’t escape the white labels.

It seems as if Art is nothing ,but entertainment & artist is nobody but the producer of the costumer of the ill media.Perhaps ,They consume art students as ones who look for jusus tits or little holy kids pennies in Leonardo DaVinchi’s or he just seeks a man and a woman lying together in Mark Chagal’s Painting.

Morteza Momayez –The Father of Iranian modern Graphic- Has closed His Book of Life in 26 November 2005, while he was suffering from a long-live pain. Momayez-Born in 1936 – had started design since 1965 and working with many Domestic and foreign Medias and Cultural Institutes. In 1968 he had startet his studies on fine and decorative arts in National France
Fine arts University .

In the late 30 years of His life ,momayez has been working all day with Students and teaching in Iranian Art Universities and helped too many young artists to find the way to the Graphic World, Infact The Nikname-Father of Iranian Graphic –is because of This teaching attitude he had since 30 years ago and the creativity he discovered and Tolerate in Iranian Graphic

The Winner of The Second prize of The China biennale 2005

China Biennale - The 30-day event and Probably one of the most Important Art Biennales in Asia, attracted more than 400 artists from 67 countries and regions, who bring more than 700 peaces of works, mainly paintings and sculptures.

Three works by Germany, British and Mexico artists won the best prizes at the Second Beijing International Art Biennale 2005.
"The Wise Virgins" by Anselm Kiefer from German, "Bent of Mind" by Tony Cragg from the Great Britain and "Arriving to New York" by Arturo Rivera from Mexico got the jury's favors among more more than 500 overseas artworks.

"Kerze II" by Gerhard Richter from Germany,"Woman" by Afshin Pirhashemi from Iran, "Float and the Might I" by Chusin Setiadikara from Indonesia, , "Closer" by Dario Urzay from Spain and "Unknown" by Anne-Karin Furunes from Norway got the second prizes of The china Biennale.

An art exhibit that trashed the U.S. flag - and portrayed images of terror on the streets of New York - NearGround Zero to mark the fourth anniversary of 9/11 has been shout down by secter Serviece.
The show ridiculed the war on terror, depicted the death of civil liberties - and featured the image of a cocked pistol pointed at the head of President Bush in a work entitled, "Patriot Act."

Chicago artist Al Brandtner's "Patriot Act" featured 42 mock postage stamps with Bush's image - and a 9-mm. handgun leveled at his head. When exhibited in Chicago in April, Secret Service agents photographed it and launched a probe of the artist.
"It was a show of intimidation," Brandtner told the Daily News yesterday. "The work was done tongue and cheek. The idea was for people who didn't like George Bush to look at it and laugh."
Hanging at the Seaport will be his "Flag: Study in White No. 1," an upside-down and whitewashed U.S. flag. "The colors have been washed out," he said. "It shows the eroding of civil liberties in America."
• North Carolina artist Lisa Charde echoes that theme in "The (un)Patriotic(ic) Act," in which a straitjacket patterned after the flag portrays the supposed shackles on America's freedoms.

After displaying a painting of U.S. soldiers torturing Iraqi prisoners, a San Francisco gallery owner bears a painful reminder of the nation's unresolved anguish over the incidents at Abu Ghraib -- a black eye and bloodied brow delivered by an unknown assailant who apparently objected to the art work.

The assault outside the Capobianco gallery in the city's North Beach district Thursday night was the worst, but only the latest in a string of verbal and physical attacks that have been directed at owner Lori Haigh since the painting, titled "Abuse," was installed there on May 16.

Last Wednesday, concerned for the safety of her two children, ages 14 and 4, who often accompanied her to work, Haigh decided to close the gallery indefinitely.

Painted by Berkeley artist Guy Colwell, "Abuse," the painting at the center of the controversy, depicts three U.S. soldiers leering at a group of naked men in hoods with wires connected to their bodies. The one in the foreground has a blood-spattered American flag patch on his uniform. In the background, a soldier in sunglasses guards a blindfolded woman.

A clay sculpture of a woman who has been sculpting for only three years won the top prize in this year's Central Otago Art Society Blossom Festival Art Exhibition.

While she couldn't remember exactly how she thought of the concept for her sculpture, she didn't take any inspiration from other artists because her work was unique, she said.

Twilight (2003)40 x 30 x 20cm Polymer clay, glass

Each sculpture is hand-moulded from flesh-toned polymer clay. Oven-firing hardens the clay, which is then coloured to enhance the characters’ features. A range of different media is used to complement and display the pieces. She estimated it took her 150 to 170 hours to complete the sculpture.
The awards were judged by Dunedin artist Sheryl McCammon, who said the standard was extremely high with lots of variety.

As I saw, a visitor was looking at a painting and he moved his head forward to read the Name and information of The Masterpiece Next to the frame , exactly at that time an unfriendly voice called out to make him aware of the red lines and the security rules…
Regardless of this event, the author believes Such wrong treatments are nothing but the main source of chaos in the Exhibition that may bear more doubts about the efficiency and validity of exhibition managers.

Draw Me A Garden at Spin Gallery

Draw Me A Garden is the first solo show of Anna Torma in Toronto. In August, she was in a group show "Just My Imagination" at MOCCA. In the Spin Gallery exhibition, a span of ten years work can be seen. While the earliest one was made in 1994, she has produced a number of new work in 2005. As I was trying to trace back techniques, ideas and changes of her work over the years, Anna told me she uses them back and forth all the time, and there is no obvious "stages" of her work. I guess that's quite true because her 1994 work seems like her newest work, except the old work is more contrived and cautious. Her new work shows more control and confidence, her techniques more sophisticated and replete with variations.

Anna Torma was introduced to textile art by both her mother and grandmother who taught her hand sewing and embroidery. Her study of textiles at the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts in Budapest from 1974 to 1979 coincided with the growing popularity of fibre production by artists from abroad. Since textile practice was not considered a fine art, it afforded Hungarian artists greater creative freedom because they were not as closely monitored by the Hungarian government as artists who were producing in other media. Torma’s textile structures incorporate numerous techniques such as embroidery, patchwork, appliqué, quilting, and felting. First she assembles a patchwork base often composed of discarded fabric, such as old clothing, and proceeds to produce textile drawings in embroidery upon this ground. "My goal is to create innovative textile based work which blanches craft with concept into femininity, domesticity, and ethnicity," Torma wrote in 1996. Torma’s embroidered designs are often based upon her children’s drawings and hand writing. "This borrowing of images and compilation permits Torma to infuse her spiritual, personal, and mundane experiences with those of others" (Theresa Morin, 1996). In Quotations (1994) Torma’s embroidered images and texts include excerpts from her children’s notebooks, charting her children’s learning process. Lullaby I (1996) consists of pieces of cheesecloth stitched together and embellished with floral motifs found in Hungarian textiles. A participant in numerous international textile art conferences, in 1994 Torma took part in the European Textile Network Conference in Budapest. She has taught art at the Burlington Art Centre and given lectures at the Harbourfront Centre and Sheridan College in Toronto, Ontario.

Kaveh Tavakoli ,Iranaian painter and Sculptor ,Was born in 1975 .He had started Drawing and Oil color painting in Highschool years.
In 1998 He entered to Azad Islamic Art and Architecture University ,and started to Paint seriously.In 2000 He established his sculpture studio and held his first Public Exhibition in 2002 ,Sabz Art Gallery.Kaveh Has once Destroyed all His paintings and all things left, are some great Wooden sculptures.
In 2004 He established His Sculpture studio once again, in Tehran Bazaar Zone, where The situation and the City environment is absolutely different from the rest.In The past 10 months, after a long period of silence, He worked harder than ever.The offsprings of The recent activities are about 8 wooden sculptures(4 Unfinished) and 12 New Paintings .

Inspite of The balance in his Sculptures and the Silence he creats trough them ,Kaveh shows more Depression and escape from reality in his paintings . Kaveh ‘s recent paintings are changed ,but Maybe just the subject and the forms are different. Brazil´s culture is a rich mosaic of many cultures of the world. No wonder Pedra Branca band, from São Paulo , Brazil , plays ethnical instruments and electronic timbres to create Brazilian experimental music.

This concept shows up in the samplers they use, which were recorded by Alfredo Bello, producer of the first Pedra Branca album, directly from traditional popular parties, chants of Amazonian tribes, typical rituals of the slavery times and folkloric prayers. The band also affirms its national roots through the execution of Brazilian rhythms with instruments of other nations.

In addition to the Arabian lute, the Indian sitar, tanpura and tabla, the Japanese samissen, the aborigine didgeridoo, the African udu and the Brazilian rattle, Pedra Branca uses instruments that were built by the musicians themselves, as the stringed armesk, made with a biscuit can and a broomstick. There is also the flute made with plastic water pipe, which sounds similar to the flute of the indians of the Xingu tribe*; another flute made with plastic water pipe and a balloon filled with water in the end of it; and a yellow conduit, covered with a gourd in the shape of an elephant. On the electronic side, the band develops bases with analogical synthesizers as moog or caribiam;
organic textures with recorded voices; and delays on the organic sounds, as happens with the tabla, the didgeridoo and the voice. But more than reaching a contemporary atmosphere, and as it happens with the regular instruments, the musicians use the electronic language to explore timbres for experimental purposes.

The traditional identity of Pedra Branca´s ethnical instruments are pulverized with other musical elements, so rather than world music, they play Brazilian experimental music. This is a simple concept: for centuries Brazil has been the new homeland for immigrants from hundreds of countries. Once in Brazil , most of them married people from different origins than theirs – from this mixture, the Brazilian people was born. The musicians themselves reflect this reality: Luciano Sallun descends from Arabians; Aquiles Ghirelli´s family is composed by Italians and Indians; and João Ciriaco´s, from Africans.

Pedra Branca (which means White Stone) was a Brazilian indian who became a powerful cure entity after he passed away. According to the folk myth, his spirit is able to heal human pain when he manifests during shamanic ceremonies
